Save the date for Saddle Up III October 15, 2022. Saddle Up II was recently awarded AZ Foothills magazine’s “Best Annual Charity Event”  in their “Best of the Valley” competition. We have lined up some stellar entertainment, including Emmy Award-Winning Singer/Songwriter Jim Salestrom and Phoenix country rock-sensation, DaisyTrain. In addition, auctioneer Subyn Novelle will again be on hand to guide guests through a tempting array of offerings donated to support Western Spirit’s mission. Chair Stephanie Johnston and her committee— Mary Meyer, Sandy Bruner, Kathy Piazza, Christine Mollring, Joan Fudala, Betsy Fahlman, and Jan Hurd Offutt —have this year’s event well in hand and promise more tasty tidbits as details are finalized.

PERFORMANCES

Jim Salestrom is an Emmy Award-Winning singer/ songwriter. Salestrom was the lead singer of the band Timberline from 1971 to 1977. Salestrom performed in Dolly Parton’s band from 1979 to 1991. As a solo artist, he has performed in shows around the world. Salestrom and his brothers were inducted into the Nebraska Performing Arts Hall of Fame on October 1st, 2021.
Voted in the top 3 for Best Country Nights by Phoenix New Times, DaisyTrain is a high energy country rock band playing your favorite classic and current country hits.
