Please join us for a day of educational adventures and Western discoveries specifically designed for homeschool students! On Thursday, November 1, the museum will host Homeschool Day activities from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Students can step into the boots of a cowboy or a cowgirl for the day by learning to make and throw a lasso, rounding up balloons, hearing stories around a life-like campfire, exploring the museum’s galleries — and more!
At 10:30 a.m. students will hear from living historian and award-winning author Lee Anderson about the different time periods of the cowboys and cowgirls of the West.
A special admission price of $5 per person (adults and children ages six and older) will be offered to participants on this day. Children ages five and under are always free.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP by Oct. 25, 2018, by emailing participants’ names and ages to email@example.com (please include “November Homeschool Day” in subject line).
