During his lifetime, the late Senator Barry M. Goldwater (1909-1998) took more than 15,000 photographs, many of which appeared in exhibitions, were included in books, and published in the pages of Arizona Highways magazine. While his passion for the beauty of the natural world and Arizona’s indigenous people often informed his subject matter, the stories behind personal and family photos were just as rich and rewarding as his published images. In this exclusive presentation members of the Goldwater family reminisce in a conversational style, sharing memorable photos that have never been seen before, and revealing the stories that only they can tell.
