The stories of the West come to life in the museum’s theater, where guests enjoy book signings, plays, film screenings, curator/artist talks, live art demonstrations, photography discussions, musical performances and expert presentations about the history, people and culture of the American West. “Spirit Is” Film

Immerse yourself in the beauty, spirit and evolving identity of the West in this visual tour de force by Emmy and CINE award-winning filmmaker Rees Candee. The 10-minute film is screened on the hour between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on days when there are no special events scheduled in the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust Theater/Auditorium.
